Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of knrconstructions.com (the “site”) and to requests you send through it to KNR Constructions (“KNR”, “we”, “us”). By using the site or sending a request, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Our services

KNR provides construction cost estimating, quantity takeoff, bid support, scheduling and related services. Sending a request through the site does not create an engagement. An engagement starts only when you accept a written quote from us that states the scope, the deliverables, the fee and the delivery terms for your project. If that quote or a separate agreement conflicts with these terms, the quote or agreement controls for that project.

2. Your documents and information

• You confirm that you have the right to share the drawings, specifications and other files you send us.
• Our estimates are based on the documents and information you provide. Missing sheets, addenda, unclear scope or later design changes can change quantities and prices.
• Please tell us about any addenda, alternates, site conditions or owner requirements that affect the scope.

3. Nature of estimates

An estimate is a professional opinion of probable cost and quantity prepared from the documents available at the time. It is not a guarantee of construction cost, a bid, a fixed price for construction or a substitute for your own review. Actual costs depend on market conditions, labor availability, local requirements, the contractor’s means and methods and other factors outside our control. You remain responsible for checking the estimate against your project and for the bids and prices you submit.

Unit costs that start from national averages and published data are adjusted for your project, but you should confirm local labor rates, supplier and subcontractor quotes, taxes, permits and code requirements before relying on any figure.

4. Fees and payment

Fees are quoted per project after we review your documents. Payment terms, deposits, revision limits and delivery dates are stated in the quote you accept.

5. Use of deliverables

When the fee for a project is paid, you may use the estimate, takeoff and related files for that project, including sharing them with your team, owners, lenders and subcontractors. You may not resell our deliverables as a standalone product or present them as the work of another estimating service.

6. Confidentiality

We treat your drawings and project information as confidential and use them only to provide the services you request, as described in our Privacy Policy. If your project requires a signed confidentiality agreement, ask us before you send the documents.

7. Website content

Guides, articles, calculators, templates and examples on the site are provided for general information. Example figures are illustrative and are not quotes or market prices. Calculators return results only from the inputs you enter. The site content, design and text belong to KNR or its licensors; you may read, share links to and print pages for personal or internal business use, but you may not copy or republish the content at scale without our permission.

8. Third-party data, tools and links

Some pages show public data, such as U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics wage and price series, which we display as published and do not control. Product names such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Xactimate, RSMeans and Primavera P6 are trademarks of their owners; KNR is not affiliated with their vendors. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use the site to send unlawful, harmful or misleading content, to upload malware, to attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to access, or to scrape or overload the site.

10. Disclaimer

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KNR is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost bids, arising from the use of the site or its content. For paid services, our total liability for any claim related to a project is limited to the fee you paid for that project, unless the quote or agreement for that project says otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed, and the version on the site when you send a request applies to that request.
